Frequently Asked Questions
We will add to this page form time to time, to answer common questions that people are interested to understand more about.
I’m worried my child won’t be able to keep up with the learning.
Learning is broken into small, easy-to-understand tutoring chunks of work each week to hopefully may it clear and manageable. You can access the video as many times as you like to help you maybe split the learning into smaller pieces. However, if your child is finding it difficult to keep up, it may be a good idea to start on a different year group plan to secure these foundations before trying to keep up with their own year group content. Please email us and we can transfer your plan or alternatively you could run two plans side by side.
Do you offer individual tutoring sessions with a teacher?
Our programme is set up to provide you with everything you will need to deliver your own tutor session for your child. Each video will give you the information about the topic and explain how to deliver this to your child, together with, from our years of experience, areas your child may find more difficult or regular mistakes they may make. We provide you with three supporting worksheets for each lesson with an increasing difficulty of work so you can work at the level suitable for your child’s confidence. All the answers are provided. We hope this gives you everything you need to deliver the session but without the expensive costs of a tutor. All the sessions are based on the National Curriculum requirements and current teaching methods. If you are worried about your child’s progress, we do offer an individual Academic Assessment and also a Learning Needs Assessment. See this section of our website for more details.
