Welcome to week 18. Each week, we will release a short video and supporting activity to help with understanding, skills and confidence in the different areas of maths.

The topic for weeks 18-23 will be ‘Multiplication and Division’.

This week, you will be helping your child learn to :

  • understand the meaning of the ‘x’ sign and show multiplication in different ways

  • count in 2s, 5s and 10s and understand how this links to the times tables
