Welcome to week 1. Each week, we will release a short video and supporting activity to help with understanding, skills and confidence in the different areas of maths.

The topic for weeks 1- 5 will be ‘Place Value’.

This week, you will be helping your child learn to :

  • read and write 4-digit numbers

  • understand the place value within a 4-digit number

  • partition 4-digit numbers
