Welcome to week 7. Each week, we will release a short video and supporting activity to help with understanding, skills and confidence in the different areas of maths.

The topic for weeks 6- 8 will be ‘Addition and Subtraction’.

This week, you will be helping your child learn to :

  • solve addition and subtraction problems using column methods and 4-digit numbers

  • solve subtraction problems with double and triple exchange and where one or more digits is a zero
