Welcome to week 1 and the Curriculum Steps Programme. Each week, we will release a short video and supporting activity to help with understanding, skills and confidence in the different areas of maths.

The topic for weeks 1- 6 will be ‘Place Value’.

This week, you will be helping your child learn to :

  • read and write numbers up to one million

  • understand the place value of each digit
