Welcome to week 3. Each week, we will release a short video and supporting activity to help with understanding, skills and confidence in the different areas of maths.

The topic for weeks 1- 6 will be ‘Place Value’.

This week, you will be helping your child learn to :

• use knowledge of place value to add/subtract 1, 10, 100, 1000, 10,000, 100,000 and 1,000,000 (and multiples of these numbers) from a 7-digit number
