Welcome to week 6. Each week, we will release a short video and supporting activity to help with understanding, skills and confidence in the different areas of maths.

The topic for weeks 1- 6 will be ‘Place Value’.

This week, you will be helping your child learn to :

• count through zero using negative numbers

• add and subtract using negative numbers (through zero and not through zero)
