Welcome to week 1 of the Curriculum Steps Programme. Each week, we will release a short video and supporting activity to help with understanding, skills and confidence in the different areas of maths.

The topic for weeks 1- 3 will be ‘Place Value’.

This week, you will be helping your child learn to :

  • read and write numbers up to 10,000,000

  • understand the value of each digit
