Welcome to week 8. Each week, we will release a short video and supporting activity to help with understanding, skills and confidence in the different areas of maths.

The topic for weeks 4 - 11 will be ‘Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division’.

This week, you will be helping your child to :

  • use estimation and rounding to help estimate answers to all four operations

  • use inverse to check answers to all four operations

  • practise problem solving
