Through our School Consultancy Tutoring Programme at Tutor Your Child, we also work with primary and secondary schools, colleges and academies, to support students with learning gaps preventing them from accessing the next steps of their learning.

We know that approximately one-third of children leave primary school without meeting age expectation for maths and approximately one-third of children leave school without achieving a grade 4 in maths - and our research shows many are the same children.

We work with different eductaional settings to change this and get children back on track by:

• 🌼 identifying the primary learning gaps of each student

• 🌼 producing a structured ‘Roadmap’ of lessons using our ready-made resources to close these learning gaps.

• 🌼 training teaching assistants to run the programme as videos and differentiated worksheets are all pre-prepared by qualified teachers

• 🌼monitoring of these students throughout the year to ensure they make expected progress and reach their potential

• 🌼raising students confidence, well-being, growth mindset and learning-motivation as they realise they ‘can’ achieve .
